Setup Instructions (Admin Only)

To display live Google Reviews, configure these env vars:

  1. Option 1 - Elfsight Widget (Recommended):
    • Sign up at Elfsight
    • Create a Google Reviews widget for your place
    • Set the env var VITE_ELFSIGHT_GOOGLE_REVIEWS_WIDGET_ID to the Elfsight widget ID
  2. Option 2 - Google Maps Embed:
    • Get a Google Maps API key from Google Cloud Console
    • Restrict the key by HTTP referrer to the deployed ClarityForge domain and enable only the Maps Embed API
    • Set the env var VITE_GOOGLE_MAPS_API_KEY to the restricted key
  3. Option 3 - Custom Integration:
    • Use Google Places API to fetch reviews programmatically
    • Store in database and display with custom styling

When neither env var is set, the page shows a calm fallback message. No real secret value should ever be committed to source code.
